Greetings To You!

There is something I find a bit odd with the attached image. The “Select Forum Drop-down” seem quite a bit loopy. How can I adjust it? Thank You! Well tried to upload the image without success. I reduced the size to 500px, smushed it to 91kb without any positive result.

This probably belong to the Theme Category but it might also be Plugin related. Wish I was able to upload this screen-shot!

91KB is 93,000 bytes which exceeds the max allowed currently.

I think just a simple link to your forum page would be best. Let us see it in action…

This might be a tricky one…

Your theme CSS has a rule set for ‘selectbox.dropdown’. Could you try just commenting that out and then looking at the forum page again to see if that is the cause? Might need to perform a browser cache clear first.

If this is the cause then you need to see if this has any adverse effect elsewhere in your site. Are you using any other selectboxes for example, that may be effected.

If it does not resolve it perhaps you could keep it commented out and coming back so I can look again.

Good-evening Sword-Fish,

Please accept my apology for the late response! Been a quite a weird week. If you take a look at that site again, you wil notice that I have deactivated and remove the forum script. The reason is that the theme I’m using requires User’s Registration before they can access the site and SimpleScript too requires a Log-in  before they can use the Forum.

What this have resulted  was a conflict between the . Users after registering to post an Ad will again find themselves confronted by ” Error: drag fruits into ……” and “Error: 9+8 is…” but without either of this option in sight.

For the drop-down, most of the options I’m using is in this format, so it will be pretty difficult to adjust that. What I want to do is to install SimplePress in a different folder and domain; for example: forum.usedinjapan.com.

Is there any better idea I can get from you? Will I be able to sort the problem by following my own solution?

Thanks for your wisdom and guidance!

Afraid I do not follow you.

First – you do NOT register OR login to the forum. You register and log in to the site. SP has nothing to do with registrations and logins. This is all WordPress at site level.

‘Error: drag fruits into’ and ‘Error: 9+8 is’??? I assume you are referring to the captcha and math spam? Both of these are options you can turn on or off in the permissions set assigned to your user group(s). In fact you do not even have to have the captcha active as that is an SP plugin so if you don’t want it just deactivate it.

Sorry – but I just do not understand what the actual problem is you are needing resolved.

I DO understand the problem with the drop-down but that is probably resolvable with a little CSS magic.
