Hi simple press folks,

This morning I’ve updated my SP to v5 and realized that now it’s components (such as blog linking) are actually plugins, kudos for that, but when I navigate to “Available plugins” it doesn’t show any of those I’ve downloaded from the SP v5 download page and uploaded them into sp-resources/plugins folder, I first tought it was because they were RARed, and so I’ve unpacked them and uploaded the folders in the designated folder, but then again none was shown, please I’ll be very gratefull on any kind of feedback!

by default plugins need to be uploaded to wp-content/sp-resources/forum-plugins…

yes, they need to be extracted from zip archive and the results folder (plugin name) and all files uploaded…

do you have a forum themes and plugin admin panel (one each)?

yes, the forum-plugins folder should contain a series of directories that contain the plugins… the zip you download of the plugin has the directory already created for you…

glad your were able to figure it out! thanks for the update.
