error 106 is still a file too large… so couple things to check… what is the size limit you have set in sp?  forum – components – file uploads

I increased the pixel size to 500 x 500 – in case the smaller size was a problem.

For media files I increased to 500 x 500 px. (in case that was the problem.)

Here’s the test file I tried and which failed on my system:

But 500 x 500 pixels would need a file size of about 250,000 bytes (well minus the compression savings and plus the overhead of course) which would leave a mere 51,200 somewhat deficient! 51,200 is more like 200 px x 250 px so i would seriously suggest that this is what needs raising

You said 78k file.. You have limit set to 50k…hence fails..

And it’s file size, not image dimensions though that is different options…
