when you edit a forum on forum – forums – manage groups and forums, its in the third section, the extended forum options…

if you dont see it, check forum – plugins – plugins list and make sure you have polls installed and its active..

And, I’m back. :/ I was able to create a poll, but instead of a poll, the following message appears:

A Simple Press Poll can only appear in a forum post 

I’ve read through various threads regarding this issue, but am at a loss as to how to resolve it. I’ve played around with the settings that were mentioned in another thread, but nothing seems to help. I’ve attached an image of the current page and permalink settings.

so what theme is this?  and link to your site?

trying turning off the display in loop options… its possible you an odd theme without a loop…

The site is WebcomicUnderdogs.com (linked to the poll post). I had loop options turned off initially, but was seeing what would happen if I turned them on. On or off, no dice. I’m using the default 1.2.7 theme.

and what about the strict api?

Aha! I thought I had tried it off, but apparently I didn’t. With api and loop off, the polls are now working. Thanks!
