OK – well – 115 is significantly more than the average forum! :)

I think for the vast majority of users having to specify at forum level which forums can have polls is just fine. But I appreciate that for someone with the rather staggering number of 115 then things are different. You could, of course, do this in the database directly by changing the value in he ‘polls’ column from zero to 1 (sfforums table)

holy crap.. I have to activate the poll feature on every individual forum? I have 115 forums.. I don’t supposed there’s an easier way to do this?

My 40 forums suddenly feels very tiny. laugh

@Andy

Thank you by way for telling about the database change.

Hi

I downloaded the zip file for the Polls plugin version 1.1 and tried to upload it but am getting this error message:

“Unpacking the package…

Installing the plugin…

The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.

Plugin install failed.”

Sounds like you are trying to put these in the WP plugins folder which wont work. SP has it’s own. Please see these guidelines for details:

Hi

Thanks. I have now set up the Poll Plugin and when I go to create a new topic the ‘Add A Poll’ button is visible but when I click on it nothing happens?
