Im running a psyhological forum where the option to post anonymously is very important but its somtimes really necessary to write the aurhors of the anon posts a private message.
Is it possible to make anon post authors actually anon only to other users, but visible for admins/moderators?
If this option is already implemented i would like to find out how to set it up. If not, is it possible to make it work this way?

I am afraid that in this case anonymous really does mean totally anonymous. The user is treated like a guest poster and their ID is not recorded in the database.
We can certainly discuss whether this could be extended in the way you would like. I will need to talk to a colleague who will not be available for a few days but I have noted it ready.
Another option might be to consider the Private Post plugin. While this option discloses to all (who have permission to the forum in question) the user name of the poster - the post content remains hidden to all except the poster and the admins. In this case the user is, of course recorded, and the 'send pm' option is available above the post content.
But I will take up your request for consideration.

Thank you. I was looking at private post plugin, but the concept im using on my forum a.t.m. is more like make users anon to each other but not anon to forum staff. I appreciate if this can be extended. Look forward for any info.

We will do this. It will be available in the next release of the plugin. Unfortunately as it needed a slight core change as well as a change to the Private Messaging plugin, it can only be made available after the next major core update which is due around the same time as the next WP update.

Still the same - just after WP 4.7 drops. and that is at RC3 i think now. So we should be talking just a few days...
