I noticed this evening that I had downloaded the PM plugin but I had not activated it. I decided to try it out, as I think it is a nice addition to any forum. It appears that the PM system does not integrate with the buddypress PM’s. In other words, my site seems to have two systems for sending pm’s to other users. Future updates to the Private Message System plugin might benefit from adding the option to integrate the buddypress PM’s with the simple press forum. In other words, use the Buddypress PM system and have the inbox icon link to the buddypress profile page (and also reflect when new PM’s are received).
