The Widget is available in the Template Tags Plugin which you can get on the Simple:Press download page.

I’ve downloaded the Template-tags plugin, created a .zip file and have uploaded the plugin to Simple:Press. I now want to show the widget in the sidebar (the sidebar will only appear on one particular page).

How do I get the code for the widget?

Created a zip file? A zip file of what?

Did you follow the link Brandon gave you. If so then the plugin will be installed and active and the widget will show up on the WP widgets panel.
