Hi,

I’ve just installed the “Template Tags and Widgets” plugin.
When I put the shortcode

sp_recent_posts

on a page, and try to view the page I get an error code.

It tells me:
The requested forum does not exist

Same result for

sp_LatestPostsTag

I have 6 Groups and 16 forums in total. So enough to choose from.

Why is it not finding anything?
The funny part is this: The widget “Recent Forum Posts” is actually working fine.

are you really putting what you show above as the tag?  that is incomplete…

and not sure what you are doing… one of those is a shortcode and one is a template tag… where are you putting them?  keep in mind that for pages and shortcodes you actually have to wrap it in a do_shortcode() call…

Hi,

Seems a good night sleep helps for a lot of things.
The code is put into a new WP page, and looks like this: (sp_recent_posts)
(I use these tags: [ but when I write them in a post on your forum to show you the post gets messed up)

My error was that I put the Forum page as the Parent.
Without a Parent, it works fine.

Something you might want to put on the Codex page.
