I am noticing now some plugins have updates available. Are there release notes or a changelog so I can see what is included in each update?
For example I see:
There is an update for the Blog Post Linking plugin. Version 1.1.11 is available. For details and to download please visit Simple:Press or go to the WordPress updates page
And I can’t seem to find what version 1.1.11 changes or introduces. But, probably I will wonder this for other plugin updates too
we have been talking how to do release notes for plugins, but have not centered on a workable, good method yet…
so the best thing to do is look at the mantis bug tracker for the plugins.. in this case: http://tinyurl.com/l3poewd
but that is still less than optimal since any version references the core plugin not the add on plugins… In this case, the reason was a compatibility issue with wp 3.6 (http://mantis.simple-press.com/view.php?id=3895) and their changes…
