Yes instead of the newest users showing up when sharing link through the sharing plugin , i would like the post showing up or a photo used in the post that is shared.

still not sure what you mean by newest users…  or how they would get in there…

and you didnt really address whether you have a plugin adding open graph stuff or not..  without it, its willy nilly..

and you didnt really say how you are sharing the link… did you try the share this plugin?

On the bottom of forum it list the newest members … how they get in the link no idea..

Sharing the link on FaceBook …. my other post on WP blog show up great when i share the link.

I am confused. Are you saying that when you share a forum page then what gets shared is the new members list? What tool are you using to perform the share?

And I really do not know what you mean by that last question I am afraid. Can you explain what you mean in a little more detail?

What I’m saying is when i share a forum post no matter which post that is what shows up when i share it.

The link shows nothing to do with post at all.

And what i was wondering is there a way that i can share a post and have the option as to what image i want to use in the shared link.

I understand what you are saying…  When you share any link (this is not simple press specific), facebook tries to find an image in the url page…  it may pick whatever it wants…

That is why I recommended getting a plugin that adds in the open graph stuff…  that is how you can tell facebook about images…  most let you specify a default image in case it cannot find one on the page to use…

most of you seo plugins (all in one seo, wordpress seo, etc) do this for you… jetpack will also set up the OG tags for you…

I just had a friend try to post it asked him to drag a picture into a circle then do a math problem then, what he wrote still hasn’t posted.
