A quote from one of my forum testers which I have checked out and agree with.
A separate comment, whislt here, is that when one inserts a smiley, it “looks” like it is suspended above the text (sort of superscripted) and it looks strange whilst composing a post, hard to evaluate the format of the post (for those whom care) until posted where it looks like it should.
So what is causing this and what can I do to get rid of it.
Not necessarily that easy this but I will be updating the TM editor code to the next version very soon so will take look at the CSS for the edit window when I do that.
OK thanks, do you see this behaviour? Could it be my uploaded smiley images?

Uploaded smileys are just another problem as they can be any size so any changes for the default set might well make uploaded smileys look even worse.
