Generally speaking it is not really possible to troubleshoot an import failure without actually having a copy of the source database. Having said that importing from bbPress is just about as simple as it gets so let’s at least get the first question answered…

I had no errors what’s so ever and at the end it said finished without any errors do you think I should run it again?

ok i think i added the wrong info pls give example of using import when using an intergrated copy of bbpress

no matter whether “bbPress Importer
(Newer plugin version)” or “bbPress Importer
(Older separate site version)” is selected the improter page will say that the source forum data is from “bbPress Importer
(Older separate site version)”

the version of the bbpress will matter… old is standalone (1.x), new is the plugin for wp (2.x)…

what did you try for the utf-8 option?

some how i was getting an error and it wouldnt let me pick which one the old or new …..I got someone to fix the error and it worked fine thank you
