Well most up to date browsers now support spell check within text areas anyway – as mine does here. Plus the tinyMCE editor does have an independent spellcheck button on the toolbar above so not sure what else is needed

Thanks it was a customer asking me so I’ll assume his browser doesn’t support spell check.

Well I can’t speak for IE (as a Mac user) but I can confirm that up to date versions of Firefox, Safari and Chrome all support textarea spellcheck. And – as noted – there is a spellcheck toolbar option on the editor.

Even in IE, the spell checker should work… assuming you are using tinymce…  even in IE, there is a spell check button that should work…

not as nice as firefox, chrome, etc that just red underline questionable words…
