Hi,
When I subscribe to a topic, the subscription is not listed in my profile.
When a new message is posted in a topic I subscribed to, I do get a notification email, but when I login to the forum, the number in the Subscriptions-button at the top of the forum is 0 (zero).
Any suggestions?

Let us deal with the ‘Subscribed’ button and popup at the top of the page first. This is not to show you what topics you are subscribed to. This is a visual notice of when new posts have been made to topics you subscribe to that you have not yet viewed. So when it is zero that simply means there are none at the moment.
Not seeing subscribed topics in your Simple:Press profile form is, however, rather odd considering that you DO get the subscription emails so there are definitely successfully subscribed topics. I have not encountered this behaviour before.
Can we discount caching or are you using a WordPress cache plugin of some kind?
I know about the button, but it doesn’t display the number of posts either. It’s always zero.
I don’t use any WP caching plugins and ‘m not aware of any other caching. How can I check?

Perhaps the simplest way – if you are willing – would be for you to make me an account (with subscription permissions) so that I can visit your site and see what happens when I subscribe etc… Would that be possible. If so…

Well – I subscribed to the topic ‘Alweer een test’.
It shows up in my SP Profile > Subscriptions list as I would expect. It shows up in the popup list but, of course, until someone writes another post in he topic I will not know if it shows up on the count.
So – so far – all looks good. Which is puzzling why you do not get this result.
When I subscribe now, this new subscription shows in the Subscription list in my profile too. All the older subscriptions do not, even though the forums are marked ‘subscribed’ in the forum listing.
I think we should let it rest for now and see what happens.

remember, you have two lists… subscribed forums and subscribed topics… new topics in a subscribed forum will not show up in the subscribed topics list… only topics you explicitly subscribe to will show there…
please let us know if you continue to have issues…
