Is it possible to create/add a new language to the Syntax Highlighter?

I thought it might be easy as there wasn’t very many files involved. I thought I figured out how the plugin worked, added a new jquery.syntax.brush.myLanguage.js file and added the language name into the install file but still no luck.

Is it possible and if so can anyone explain quickly what I’m missing?
