Having upgraded countless plugins the Tags Plugin 1.1 does not save the tags to the post. You have to edit the post and my pet hate is putting them iin by hand!
I no longer have the older version so i cannot change it back, i will check to see if yours works when i make this post

I will open a ticket for research… its probably not the tags plugin upgrade that may have caused problems but the 5.1 sp release where the api for creating a post was enhanced… thought we had checked all the plugins that used it, but perhaps we missed something in tags…
Okay, I can verify that the new post class added as part of 5.1 has broken the Tags plugin… We need a day or two to analyze the issue and determine if we can patch in the plugin or if it really needs a core update…
