where are you installing it? using the SP plugin installer? or the WP?

Are you trying to add it using the WordPress plugin uploader? The Simple:Press add on plugins need to either be manually installed see here: http://codex.simple-press.com/codex/plugins/plugin-basics/using-plugins/ or by using the Simple:Press plugin uploader in the Forum Admin > Plugins > Plugin Uploader page.

Thanks so much for your help! I just went back and used the Simple Press plugin uploader as directed and it installed perfectly!

(I had tried to upload it with the WP plugin installer the first time.)

Plugins won’t install, I already tried the help file:

but it won’t install either via ftp or plugin upload.

you cannot use the wp plugin installer… its a simple press plugin, not wp… so use the sp plugin installer… forum – plugins – plugin uploader…
