I just installed your Polls Plugin and noticed that the text is partially shown when you’re typing; it only displays correctly after you move to the next field. The “Remove Answer”, “Add an Answer” and “Cancel” buttons are partially displayed. Please see attached photo for reference. Thank you!
Hmmm… cannot duplicate your typing issue or the partial button issue… but I do see some input field height issue.. and the wrong jquery ui css is getting loaded (blue buttons????) now for some reason (perhaps a function of wp 3.5??)…
but will look into it further… thanks for the heads up…
actually, I have a hard time duplicating this… its working fine for me… however, in a couple of wp themes I played with, I did fine some interacting with the wp theme and the input elements… so its possible your wp theme is bleeding through and overriding our css…
can you check that?
btw… an update to the polls plugin was pushed out last night to try to help keep wp themes from stomping on the input elements….
Hi, I just updated the polls plugin, thank you for that. It looks a lot better now, unfortunately I still have the same problem.
I have to play around with some sizing in my theme some more; so far I have not been able to pinpoint the problem. Thank you for your help though, greatly appreciated.
firefox with firebug is great for debugging styling like that… can guests create polls on your site? If so, I could take a look…
