"The plugin does not have a valid header." from download today

Hi guys,

Just downloaded the plugin to install and migrate a phpBB forum I have on another site.  I was greeted with this on activation:

“The plugin does not have a valid header.”

I downloaded the ZIP on a Mac, installed without opening or modifying it.  I used WinZip to verify the content of the file and it seems fine (I can open, browse and look at the content–it looks “plugin like”)

But I still get that error.  Any thoughts on how to get around it??

I think I found it–stupid installer on this web host set the permissions to 0000!  Oof.

Stand down, yellow alert.
