im very new to simple:press. I have installed the Plugin (Version 5.1.4), using the default theme, added some plugins and im now trying to get the tinyMCE to work. I have no clue what elese to do, the editor just wont show up..
Can you please, help me?

5.1.4? what version of tinymce plugin are you running? the latest requires 5.2.2 sp… so you might have a mismatch there… also, we have run into few issues with tinymce working on wp 3.4.x since they improved the api in 3.5…
I updated sp to the latest version.. no change.
I updated WordPress to 3.5, now its working.
