Tinymce plugin – special character button

Hi Simple Press team,

Thank you so much for helping me out so far (especially to Ike). I am a new member and while most things are working beautifully, I noticed a glitch with my recently purchased tinymce editor plugin. When I select a special character using the special character button, the little tool tips are getting left behind. Could you please help solve this?

 

Second question: Do you know how I can use the insert/image link button on tinymce as I do not see a browse option to look for images here?

first we have heard of the tooltip for special chars issue… but can confirm it seems to happen…  will open a ticket for it to be looked at…

not sure I follow the image question… the tinymce insert image button is for web based images (via url)… tinymce does not support uploading images – at least not with other moxie extensions (paid)….

for local uploading of images, you should our file uploader plugin… you can see it here via the Attachments button at bottom of editor…

Thank you Mr Papa. Ok, I understand now what insert/edit image is for. Please ignore this question.

 

However, the first one is quite relevant to us and we would be grateful if you could please look at this issue. I did have some other issues with registration and login redirects which I will post in a moment in the correct forum. Thanks again Sonia

No problem, as Steve said he will open a ticket so we can investigate. Sometimes if it’s a quick and easy fix we will post it back to the topic so you can correct it yourself in lieu of an update.

Hey Sonia,

The ticket has been closed so I’m assuming it’s fixed and ready to go in the next update. You can test it here actually, should work just fine.

yes, will  be in release coinciding with wp 4.5 in early/mid April (believe12th is plan)…
