this version is no more complicated than before… unless you consider having a separate admin and seperate front end translation which was widely requested by soooo many users since they only wanted to translate front end for their users…  and they were the only ones seeing the backend…  just cuts down on the amount of translating required…

no caching plugins right?

and cleared browser cache on front end?

The Prize was a torture to me really old version, download the older version, justreading the language problem in this language is simple, download the file even ifthere is a separate problem in a lot of choices. mo. po options such as language, whereas there is a single file is prepared to tell se and installation should beannotated to each language should be as hard as the language of the language and the forum but almost two weeks there is no cix ingilizcegi ugrasiyoırum Bibliography, essential for everyone in this translation is easy, believe me öğretsem and surgeons answered

hocam,

wp-config.php’de define(‘WPLANG’, ‘tr_TR’); aynen kalıyor ona dokunmuyoruz.

anladığım kadarıyla önce şu 2 adrese gidiyoruz:

http://glotpress.simple-press.com/projects/simple-press-core/version-500/sp/tr/default

http://glotpress.simple-press.com/projects/simple-press-core/version-500/spa/tr/default

nope, no caching plugins. also I cleared cache and cookies on 3 different browsers, but still same result.

1patron1 says he is also getting the same result, front-end language doesn’t change.

Have you also downloaded and installed the theme language file (if it is available and translated yet)? You have to remember – as I said somewhere buried above – most of the text is now coming from the theme NOT the core.

The old method of translation relied on having one person who was being asked to translate well over 1000 pieces of text. It also required a lot of administrative work our end.

The move to GlotPress follows the same move currently being made by the WP core team. It is NOT our software and we do hope that it will be improved quickly to make it’s use easier. But it is a fairer system and does not rely on a single volunteer.

This is a community task. It is free and can only happen with volunteers who give large amounts of their time to help others. if there are parts that have not yet been translated then it is a matter of waiting for someone else to do it or pitch in and join the effort.

şu an türkçe benim forum.

Yellow Swordfish thank you, it was the theme file as you said. now it is working fine.

but I’m telling you, unless properly documented this language issue will give you guys a lot of headache, like the one in this topic.

so I’m ready to write a turkish guide if you would like…

If you think this codex page:

http://codex.simple-press.com/codex/installation/installation-information/localization/

can be improved (ant it probably can since we just started populating the codex), please offer some suggestions…  very shortly, we want to let users help write codex stuff… if you want to volunteer, I can give you early access…
