Uable to insert Message Recipients

Hi! Unfortunately the Private Messaging Plugin doesn’t work. We’re unable to insert message recipients. Neither ist there a selection of names after typing a first letter nor is it possible to insert anything at all into the textarea (it remains grey). Any idea? Thank you very much.

The most common reason for this would be a javascript conflict although this would effect more than just PMs. But it is the first place to look. This codex article explains what to look for: http://codex.simple-press.com/codex/faq/troubleshooting/what-is-this-jquery-conflict/

Thank you very much. Seemingly the (or one) cause of the javascript conflict has to do with another SP plugin. After turning off that plugin the conflict also disappeared. By the way there are no other conflicts at all. However, it was worth the try.

that really is most unlikely – we repeatedly and constantly test with them all active. It is more likely that the specific SP plugin was colliding with something else. So – which SP plugin and I will check what scripts it is using…
