"Warning: Illegal string offset 'dbversion'" after Google XML Sitemap update

Hi Andy/Steve. Yesterday I updated the SP Google XML Sitemap Integration plugin on a couple of sites, and now I get the following error on my WP admin pages:

Warning: Illegal string offset ‘dbversion’ in /problem-with-post-edit-buttonome/bbfuture/public_html/wp/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-plugins/google-sitemap/sp-google-sitemap-upgrade.php on line 15

It doesn’t seem to show up on the public-facing site, so I’ve been ignoring it, but thought I should mention it here. Do you know what might be causing it? I’m not very good at troubleshooting these sorts of errors.

Are you sure you are running the latest?  just asking because of couple releases too it recently (one for wp plugin release and other for ugprade to settings)…

while you might get the warning once (you shouldnt be displaying php warnings on a production site anyways), it would clear up after the upgrade ran….  the second release was explicitly for this…

I’m running v2.2 of the sitemaps plugin, the latest SP version, and there are no pending updates in my admin panel.

can you look in your db, in the sfoptions table and tell me the value of the option ‘sfbuildsitemap’?

nvm… my bad… I was correct, we have fixed that harmless warning…  but we havent pushed out the release yet…  was waiting for the wp 3.9 release next week…  maybe I can do it this weekend anyways…  sorry for the mislead there…
