Where Do I Upload Plugins?

How do I upload plugins in Simple Press 5? I’ve read two other questions addressing this here, but I didn’t understand the answer to either one. I understand that it has something to do with the /wp-content/sp-resources/forum-plugins folder, but I don’t understand how I’m supposed to get Plug-ins to upload to that folder.

I tried to upload a Simple Press Plugin to my WordPress plugin dashboard but it keeps telling me that the upload failed. I know I’m doing something wrong, but I’m not sure what it is.

You need to use an ftp program. Or – if your hosting control panel has a File manager you should also be able to use that.

So I have to upload all of the plugins that I want to use in the FTP files? Or is there just one that I have to upload that will allow me to upload the rest through wordpress?

it depends on where you have located it on your forum – integration – storage locations panel…  by default, its wp-content/sp-resources/forum-plugins

yes, upload any plugins that you want to use… if you dont want to use one, dont upload it…
