I have installed and configured the Subscriptions plugin and enable the option to ““, but when I look at the forum I see buttons at the bottom of each topic to watch that topic or subscribe to that topic, but I don’t see a corresponding button anywhere to subscribe to a forum. Have I missed a step?
Thanks Brandon. While I was waiting for a reply I reviewed the codex page on Subscriptions again and did a little more exploring on the forum. I had read about the template tag you described, but I’m really not ready to start digging into editing the template files. I was hoping that would not be necessary, and it turns out it isn’t.
I noticed that there is a small heart with a + sign on it displayed on each forum title bar. When I hovered over it, the tool tip said “Subscribe to this forum”! I guess that must be a newly added feature. I had also noticed that the Subscriptions codex page is marked as “Requires updating”, so I guess this feature will be noted when the page is updated.
The options can always be used but are, of course, only really available when someone is posting or creating a new topic.
