I am embarrassed to have to ask again. Perhaps this is due to language difficulties? (MY understanding 🙂

I can see that certain things have been translated, but unfortunately not very much. As you can see in my first screenshot, some sentences are translated into Danish, (marked in yellow). But everything else is not translated?

So just to clarify:
I upload the file “sp-da_DK.mo” (attached to this post) to: /sp-resources/forum-language/simple-press/

But only some sentence in “My profile” are translated?

My biggest problem is how I can translate the important buttons, marked in blue on the screenshot number two.

I hope I’ve explained myself properly?

Thanks in advance
Best regards

Most of these will be in the SP theme (Login. logout, add topic, post etc) and others will be in the relevant plugin (subscriptions, watches etc). You would have to check on the translation site to get the latest position on those to see of anyone has volunteered to make the translations.

It always takes a while for translations to evolve I am afraid.

If you mean you do not want to wait for the translations then you can edit all theme related text in your theme templates – in the /templates folder of your SP theme. You should find them all if you search through them.

As always we recommend that you create your own SP theme so that any customisation is not lost during a future update. (http://codex.simple-press.com/codex/themes/theme-basics/creating-a-theme/)

Thank you. I will create my own theme copy and do the translations there.

But on thing (one??? 🙂 I still don´t understand: In the PO -file, I can see these translations is allready implemented, so why can´t I see them in the forums MO -file on the website?

That doesn’t look like a V5 PO file to me.
Are you sure you got that from the right place? (http://glotpress.simple-press.com/)
