What do you mean? Copy from one site to another? Use your computers operating system tools. Filer on a Mac or Explorer on PC. They usually have, I believe tools to enable you to zip up a folder and it’s contents and copy it.

Or how can I get a new .zip file and just copy and paste the CSS to the new file…

New zip file? Sorry – new zip file of what? And you can’t edit files within a zip – you need to unzip contents first.

I can’t find the app for compressing into .zip files

maybe i’ll check the app store. 

I honestly don’t think mac has that app in place or i’m sire I would of seen it…

using my mac if I need to zip up a folder I simply select the folder, right click and use the ‘compress’ option on the menu.

Ok, I now know how to compress a file, but when I coped and pasted the theme I wanted and compressed it. 

It still was not able to upload… Obviously I’m doing this wring.

SO how do I export the theme folder I want to use? 

I wanted to use the WordPress Export tool but, it only shows options to export pages, posts, comments etc.

I tried downloading a new .zip of the default theme and I just renamed the file to default custom. 

But that didn’t work either. It allowed me to upload the theme, but when I went to activate it I got an error message so I’m still stuck..

have did you rename it???

I just renamed the file in my mac.
