Hello there,

I noticed that the file attachment button is available for members logged in.

How can I make the file attachment be available for guests not logged in?

Best regards

Jin

go to simple press admin, permissions, manage permissions, edit read only access, you want to make sure they are allowed to reply to existing topics and then check mark the files you want to allow them to upload at the bottom of the permission list

I would personally make sure first post moderation is enabled as well to make sure nothing out of line is being uploaded

No sorry – kvr28 is not right… uploading is not available to guest posters. The problem is that they have no permanent presence in the database so there is nothing to associate attachments to.
