do you have a link to your site please?
http://www.saskmilitia.com/forum/
not entirely sure what you are asking… you dont seem to have any subforums… and not sure what you mean by the images run vertical…
but will try with a couple things… if you are talking about the custom icons you have for each forum and how they look on the group view page vs how they look in the forum header on forum view, its because of the image sizes… you have uploaded very large images for the icons 118×120 px… on group view, they appear smaller because they get scaled because of the limited width you have given the icon column… on forum view, you just see them full width (and height) because there is more room allocated…
so they are the same image, just very large… if you want them shown small like on group view, you should be using a much smaller image (ie 32px), then they will look the same…
by vertical do you mean the page links vice subforum images that you said?? that one is odd as something is adding a line break after each page number… we do not have any facility for doing that… can you show me the template tag you are using in your spGroupView.php template file for your sp theme?
are those private subforums? cause I dont see them…. and explained about the page links…
something is adding in br tags… wp used to have a problem with plugins doing this long ago by dorking with wpautop filter but has mostly gone away…
what happens if you switch to default wp theme? any better? if not, disable all other plugins and see…
If these are custom sub-forum icons can you also look in your spGroupView.php template (in the /templates folder of your SP theme), find the function call to the display tag sp_ForumIndexSubForums() and copy and paste that line of code here? Let’s see what you have for it….
sp_ForumIndexSubForums(‘unreadIcon=sp_SubForumUnreadIcon.png’, __sp(‘Sub-Forums’), __sp(‘Browse topics in %NAME%’));
sp_SectionEnd(”, ‘forum’);
endwhile; else:
sp_NoForumsInGroupMessage(‘tagClass=spMessage’, __sp(‘There are no forums in this group’));
endif;
sp_SectionEnd(”, ‘forumlist’);
sp_SectionEnd(”, ‘group’);
endwhile; else:
u can see it cause its hiidn for general public but its the home page view of the forum
what would it take to get u guys to help me mod my theme to best suit my bf4 platoon website? Maybe I just need more advice
I can certainly get Brandon to get in touch with you to discuss any customisation you feel you would like.
But first let’s look at the sub-forum icons. They should default to a width of 20 pixels so I am sunure why yourds are not but let’s try this…
Can you change that one line of code for this:
sp_ForumIndexSubForums('unreadIcon=sp_SubForumUnreadIcon.png&stack=0&iconWidth=20', __sp('Sub-Forums'), __sp('Browse topics in %NAME%'));
Note the extra items separated by ampersands, no spaces (stack and iconWidth).
Does that help?

Then I would suspect that this too is a knock-on effect from, perhaps your WP theme or maybe another plugin.
We would need to actually see the page so that we can interrogate the styling being applied. Do you have anything we can look at on the site?
