Support Forum
It appears that the themes have not been coded to support Internet Explorer 7. Some layout components appear misaligned or broken. I understand this is an old browser but it still has a fairly large user base. Are you guys planning IE7 support down the line or are you coding for IE8+ only?
I attached a couple of of IE7 screenshots. The first one is from this forum, the 2nd is from our installation (we are running a custom theme based on CSS-Only Theme. I was able to fix the misaligned Search button that you see in first screenshot in our theme via css override but other elements are more challenging because they use classes with no id hooks.

the desire is to drop IE support all together since MS cannot follow simple standards... at least IE 9 makes a reasonable, half hearted attempt at following standards... the preview edition of IE 10 I have played with is even better...
but yes, still too many folks still using IE to completely drop... so thus far, we have limited our IE testing to IE 9 and IE 8 with the former getting the bulk... sad the number of custom changes we had to make even then... but enough soapbox...
what do you mean by classes with no id hooks? most of our template tags in the theme itself can have an id and/or class applied to it... we shouldnt many, if any, elements completely without id or class...
