Oh great found a load of bugs, firstly Darnoc Walraf who is my regular member test alter ego cannot post new topics, they are rejected with the message ‘You are not allowed put links in post content’. I wasn’t aware that the single word ‘test’ was a link. I’ll post that one elsewhere.
But best of all look at what happens in IE8, it is totally screwed. I did an svn up to 6829 this morning in the UK and used default with berries and creme in case it was my theme and overlay that was causing problems. I suspect that it might me my wasteland theme again because it has some stuff labelled IE hacks in the style sheet. In saying that the main site with V4.4.5 works with the same WP Theme and WP version just fine.
I believe that IE8 should be banned, there’s nothing like this on Firefox, Chrome or Safari on a variety of platforms.
