Hello, I am using the reboot overlay in blue and I would like to make everything flat without any transparency and gradient.  Thanks for any help..

First stage would be to make a child theme. It's optional but it will mean that any changes you make will not get destroyed when we next update Reboot.

I would download the Reboot Child Framework from our store (free) - install that - rename it. And then add a copy of the overlay you are using into the child theme - perhaps with a different name. When you have got all this working then we can talk you through the simple changes... unless you choose not to make the child of course.

For detailed help should you need it on the above please see: https://simple-press.com/docum.....ild-theme/

Thanks @yellow-swordfish

I created a child theme called rebot-flat-child and added the blue overlay in the style folder and renamed it flat.blue.php.

I think I did it all right and thanks for your help..

Good stuff. So the 'blue' overlay... is that flat enough or do you still want to change something?

I'm surprised you can even see the gradient on the 'blue' overlay!

To change - open the overlay file you are using in a plain text editor.  You will find it in the /styles/overlays/ folder of your child theme.

For gradients - look for the section labelled 'GRADIENT COLOURS'. I would change the the various 'xxxFrom' and 'xxxTo' variables to the same base colour value, which is the best way of removing it.

For the transparency settings see the section labelled 'TRANSPARENCY PALETTE'. In Reboot, these are mainly applied to the buttons.

Experiment away!
