We may be able to get a rough cut alpha out earlier but it may have limited SP plugin support here and there.
We’re only using a couple plugins, all from you guys (subscriptions being the most important to us), so that would be fantastic!
OK – we hear you. I can say that absolutely nothing will happen prior to the release of WP 3.6 (and SP 5.3) which are priorities at the moment and still uncertain as I understand WP have just pulled some of their planned developments out of their beta 3.6…
same really… at the mercy of the wp devs and their release of 3.6… We have a bunch of required changes invested in 5.3 that are strictly tied to changes in 3.6… We have to get 5.3 released in order to clear the decks for the mobile beta… We would hope to be able to go to beta on 5.4 (or whatever it might end up) about a month after wp 3.6 and thus sp 5.3 is released…
had we known the wp folks would slip their 3.6 release this much, we would have gone a different route…
Its still TBD, but given the amount of time and effort going into the mobile responsive development, I would expect that the mobile version will be available to simple press Silver and Gold Members…
Ok. My silver membership is expiring soon. Is it possible to get some kind of notice when the Mobile version is ready for DL? I will buy another membership then

Absolutely. We will be making announcement posts on the blog here and in the forum, as well as on twitter… So make sure you are following our blog posts or twitter… Within a month of wp 3.6 and sp 5.3, I would expect to see a beta of the mobile theme… it will be closed to members since we will need feedback in the forum…
last update in this thread was only a couple days ago and still valid… waiting on wp to finally release 3.6 (delayed couple months now)… then we should have beta available within a month…
Apologies… I thought the mobile release was planned with the newest release 3.5.2 – my mistake. I’ll look in again after 3.6
