Stacked Theme - Search Formatting Area is IE vs Firefox

Running latest version of SP and Stacked Theme 1.0.5. Using IE 9.08 and Firefox 8.01. The Theme seach button formatting is different on each version. Looks correct in Firefox and not in IE. In IE the button is way off to the right. See below. Any suggestions?

Its because you are forcing IE 7 mode on your sites... with
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" />
in your header... and IE 7 doesnt follow standards half as well as IE 9...
