some that I know folks are using...  wishlist member (what we use), magic members, e-members, s2member, wp members...

really any that uses the wp api for controlling the users is likely to work... really just needs to have a wp role per membership then you can match up sp usergroup for full integration...

I have used WP-Member very successfully it is free and very well supported and I recommend it very highly. However needed a 'tiered' membership to create tiered access to certain materials and so now use a premium plug-in called WP-eMember, this also works very well and allows different levels of membership with different privileges. It also integrates extremely well with the WP-eStore plugin which we needed because we started to sell things online.

If you only need one category of membership then use WP-Member it is very robust and works very well with SP5.

wont be able to look before tonight...   and you should really open new topics for new issues...  easier to keep track of what you have going on...

if you transferred your site, you probably need to update the profile tabs and menus... go to forum - toolbox - housekeeping and click on the button for resetting the profile tabs and menus...

well your new topic dealt with admin... this one dealt with front end profile...

probably best at this point if you just explain the issue...

Hey guys, I need a recommendation for a membership plugin. Here are my requirements:

My site http://www.aristotleprep.com is running a multi site wordpress installation.

1. The first problem I face because of this is when a new user registers on the website, I am unable to determine who registered for the GRE site and who did for the GMAT one and this way we are unable to send the email to the target segments properly. Also the registration email that the user gets when on registering need to be relevant for the section they registered for.

2. The second problem the users are facing these days is that when they  try to register through firefox,  it throws an invalid username error.

3. I'm not looking for a membership plugin that provides paid access to certain parts like that in simple-press because my forum is accessible to all. I just want that when a user clicks on the  pdf  files available on my website they should be asked to  login/register

There's an overwhelmingly high number of registration plugins available and i was wondering if you guys  can suggest something that would meet my requirements.
