BBCode posts and translate error

Hey. I’ve BBcode plugin, HTML plugin and TinyMCE plugin, but we parse Vbulletin to Simple-press and the posts and themes have BBcode as:

[SIZE=4][FONT=Arial Narrow]
or..

[TABLE=”class: outer_border, width: 500, align: center”] [TR] [TD=”bgcolor: #1B0A2A, align: center”][FONT=garamond][SIZE=5]example[/SIZE][/FONT][/TD] [/TR] [/TABLE]

How can we convert this BBCode to Simple-press BBCode or HTML? Are much posts and We don’t want lose nothing.

After, I've other problem about translate. I've Simple-press 6.0 but I want translate some words to my language, words of the forum and the translate for default don't have. How can I manage the translate? Can I do work some plugin translate of Wordpress for it?

Hi:

There is no easy way to address this issue without writing some sort of custom conversion process to handle the tags. The reason is this - when a user uses our BBCODE editor, internally those codes are translated to HTML and stored in the database. Then when the post is retrieved again for editing, the HTML is converted to BBCODE tags.

In your case, the data is being stored in the database with the original BBCODE tags because they didn't go through our editor (and its html conversion process). So when the post is retrieved, there is no html to convert back to BB code and no HTML to render.

So, I don't think we have an easy way for you to solve your issue that doesn't involve custom code that can parse your existing BBcodes in your posts and convert it to HTML.

Sorry I don't have a better answer for you on this.

Ok thanks. I used one bbcode to html online and fix some things, but others... we have modify all :/
