There's no shortcode that can do what I think you're suggesting.  This is because you'd have to modify the code parameters for every post and topic.  Which is the same as just manually placing links in the posts and forum topics I think.

What I am thinking of would not be a link but an actual copy of the thread itself, there was a plugin for bbpress for quite some time but it has not been updated in far too long for me to be comfortable using it which basically created a topic for each post and replaced the comments on the post's page with the topic. I have been trying to find something like this since that one stopped being reliable but have not yet found a solution that works just like that. At this point I have put the bbpress topic into a plugin which allows me to add it to the post via a widget container and this makes it so it does not effect the theme at all. I place this inside of an accordian block and it is a pretty clean set up, though it does not replace comments, it does put the topic on the post page--as the site itself is a collection of short stories, the intent is to create conversation with the readers, and there are not daily posts so setting each page/topic up manually is not a big deal--the key for me is functionality and aesthetics as I want it to be a PRETTY format haha

Thank you kindly for all of your help! I do appreciate your attempts to help me troubleshoot this issue!

Hi:

It looks like you requested and was granted a refund for the blog linking plugin since its not working for you.  I hope you do find something that fits the bill. Sorry it couldn't be us.

Thanks.
