Hi,

On the admin panel in the "Manage Groups and Forums" page I have broken icons next to each group and forum.

My apache logs show:

AH01276: Cannot serve directory /httpdocs/wp-content/sp-resources/forum-custom-icons/: No matching DirectoryIndex (index.html,index.cgi,index.pl,index.php,index.xhtml,index.htm,index.shtml) found, and server-generated directory index forbidden by Options directive, referer: https://(...)/wp-admin/admin.php?page=simplepress/admin/panel-forums/spa-forums.php

On the front end I have no error. Icons displayed correctly. Note that I am not using any custom icons - never touched the default icon option.

Sounds like there might be permission issues on the server for that folder.  Or maybe the folder might not exist.  Can you verify that the wp-content/sp-resources/forum-custom-icons folder exist on your server and that there are icon files in it?

Thanks.

Thank you for the super fast reply!

There is such a folder, but it's empty.

As I mentionned I never used custom icons.

Where can I download the icons that should be there?

thanks 🙂

You'll need to pull them from the core plugin zip files.  Not sure why that folder would be empty though - the only reason would be if the install failed for some reason or if the web server doesn't have right permissions to it.

Inside the plugin zip file, navigate to simplepress-V6-5-0.zip\simplepress\sp-startup\install.

In there is another zip file called sp-resources-install-part1.zip.

In that file is a folder called forum-iconsets.

Copy all the folders from in there into the folder on your server.

Thanks.
