I couldn't get a full page of what the permissions look like - but perhaps this will help.

Went back and fixed the read-only permission - the ability to see forums was unchecked, so perhaps the guest look works again

And no - I didn't undo it before.

I didn't change any permissions anywhere until all of a sudden no one could get in anymore.

Even though hardly anyone ever uses the forum, I just can't seem to give up and tell them it doesn't work anymore.

yes, guests can access the forum again...

which is why I want to see what you have for permissions for standard and full roles...  you  may be limiting those...

one other thing to try...  please go to forum - toolbox - housekeeping and try clearing the auths cache...

Sorry for not using the right terminology.

I have cleared that cache (actually all of them) before but just did it again. Nothing changed.

Here is the uploaded second half of the full permissions

There is a permission that i do not see in either of the images which I am assuming has just been cut off when you clipped them. Under the 'viewing' section there is a permission labelled 'Can view only own posts and admin/mod posts'. For full access this permission should be turned off. The same apples - in the 'editing' section - to the permission labelled 'Can only reply to own topics'. This too should be turned off but I notice that you have that turned on.

Can you double-check these two settings please.

Andy asked you about two specific permissions that are shown in those images.. both are not checked which is good and what he was asking...

What other SP plugins are you running?

Are you running any membership or private type wp plugins?  Any wp caching plugins (dont see one, but cant always tell)??

Going to need the new owners of simple press jump in here on next steps since this is in the community forum...

Hi - No, no other SP plugins. No caching plugin. Wishlist member plugin. Nothing new that I haven't had on the site for ages.
