Hi there! I'm testing the wordpress data exporter. When I try to email a download link to a person making a request, I get this error:

An error occurred while attempting to export personal data.

Expected response as an array from exporter: Simple Press Profile.

Can you help?

Hi:

What's in your WordPress debug.log file? Chances are there is a stack error trace that would provide some line numbers for the code. That would make it easier to tell which data element it's choking on. I assume the user you're testing this with has some simple:press data?

You can find the options you're asking about under FORUMS->OPTIONS->MEMBER SETTINGS.

There are no errors... I have a real request now so I need to get this fixed.

The user has NO simplepress content. The only data is one (woocommerce) transaction but I am unable to send a download link OR download the file myself, as pictured.

Please note the dimmed, "download failed".

I get the same error, implicating SP whether I try to download myself OR send a link to download to the user.

I also get this error when the user HAS simplepress data. Please help!

hmmm...its going to be hard or even impossible to troubleshoot this without any other clues or error messages. Can you upload or link to your debug.log file so we can see what's in it? Maybe there's something else in there that might provide a clue.

The last entry in the debug file was recorded on May 22nd which was repeated, daily, all the way back to January.

Hi:

That seems like a while ago - if it was repeated daily and then suddenly stopped - are you sure that the WordPress debug flags are turned on in wp-config? If they're off it could be why there are no new messages in the log.
