How to export an entire forum for archiving purposes

Is there a simple way to export the entire contents of a forum (one with multiple sub-forums/discussions/threads) in a way that the contents can be accessed without needing the simple-press software? We want to save a couple of years of discussions and store it in our organization's archive.

Hi:

There's no built-in function that does that.  But you might be able to go directly to the database and export out the sftopic and sfposts tables.  While we've never tried, a product like WP ALL EXPORTS might be worth a look as well.
