I just updated the plugin and it kinda broke my forum: videos are not embedded, can't edit a post and there's some minor style issues
Also, it didn't ask me to update the forum after I updated the plugin (as it usually did)

I don't know if it's related but I've seen on the debugger that wp-includes/class-oembed.php is obsolete and that I should use wp-includes/class-wp-oembed.php instead.

Thanks for posting. We have tightened the security a bit since the latest update which probably is the cause to you issues.
Regarding the installer and the "update" we have streamlined the setup a bit so the "update" step is only required when we need to process any data or do some database changes. Updates that only affect code will from now on be silent meaning that the install process will be smoother and wont require any user input.
Could you please help us narrow in on the style changes that have affected you. Could you please post a link to a screenshot or similar or some code snippets to help us find what's missing.
And thanks for the heads up on the `class-oembed.php` we are aware of this and it's on our list to remove asap.

Also, another thing I saw is that the tag suggestions now look like links (I think hey were buttons)

FYI: The oembed is not fixed but will be addressed also.

Yes we have checked it and confirmed your issue. We are working on a fix for this.
We just released 6.11.4 that addresses a few other issues with icons that you have commented on.
