Remove the New / Updated Topics button?

Is it possible to remove this buttom. Members find it confusing and I think it is a bit of a duplication. Can it be removed?

You can probably hide it with some css. Inspecting the code shows its id as spQuickLinksTopic. So some css like this might do the trick:

#spQuickLinksTopic {

display: none;

}

Hopefully that gets you pointed in the right direction.

Thank you very much. I haven't tried CSS Code, but I think maybe now is the time to learn! I will try to learn in the next couple of weeks and try out this option. Thanks again.

You can add the css to FORUM->THEMES->CUSTOM CSS screen or you can add it to the WordPress customizer custom CSS screen.
