We’re just starting out with Simple-Press, and searching for topics related to the “file uploads” plugin seems to return every single forum post, so I apologize if this is a repeat question:

I’m trying to upload an image to a post, and I’m able to drag/drop one or select a file just fine, but the tiny “start upload” option doesn’t work – nothing happens when I click it.

I’ve checked permissions, and I have them set to allow file uploads, and the file type (jpg) is included.

It looks like the documentation for this plugin only refers to the 5.x.x version of Simple-Press, and we’re running the current version, so I’m not sure where else to look for troubleshooting help.

If it’s any help, the “attachments” option on this post worked for me just fine. On our installation, though, there is no + or arrow icon appearing with the “add files” and “start upload” options, respectively.

Any help would be much appreciated!
