Lectori Salutem,
We are looking for someone with experience in adapting a theme to fit our Wordpress theme. All graphics are done, and input on graphics is highly appreciated. The general overview of the job is as follows:
- Remove login / logout / members overview funtionality [handled by WP]
- Breadcrumbs in a seperate element [horizontal, image background]
- Buttons to be changed [some buttons do have graphics on them, and thus need to be hardcoded in]
- Change of button style based on background image
- Background to be transparant [so that Simple:Press' background is that of our WP website] -> Change of font colors
- Group header / Forum bg to be changed to the graphics provided -> removal of Group Icon, adding of custom icons to forums
Additional information I would like to provide on Skype [I like to talk to people, email is however an option, but not preferred, as I would like to know with whom I speak ]
Do drop me an email with an overview of your work, and Skype contact details
Awaiting all your responses, I remain,
Dwight
I would have to see some kind of mock up or more details of what you need first, but I do a lot of WP and SP themes.
PM me if you don't already have someone doing it for you.
Thank you Brandon for your interest in the opportunity.
Since it took quite long for a response, I started learning how Simple:Press functions myself [I thought this would take me too long, but surprisingly it was extremely easy] by purchasing the Silver membership and almost finished the theme myself (only took 4 hours, including learning).
All that remains now are some modifications to the membersystem from within WP besides content [register with license key only, challenge responses, subscription model, ...]; Do you have experience with that?
You can view the website here: http://www.pirates-nest.com
Good deal. Not that hard once you get into it.
I do have some experience with special login needs and paywalls. I can tell you though if you set up some kind of paywall I suggest you try and do it yourself. They are tricky and unless you set it up yourself and learn how they work you will have to hire someone every time you need a change, update or have a problem with it.
