I am missing something…

What is the problem with admin CSS? Do we actually have one?

think its local issue on his box, but we need to be sure…  did you see the error message and images thrown back some posts.

any thoughts on the image upload problem he is having?

No – the image links are no longer valid.

Is this another path issue caused by WAMP ?

the image links for the css arent valid?  I uploaded those images to our server?  should be image enlargment pics…  my posts… shows th error message and appearance….

I use WAMP and dont have the issue with the uploader… wanted to check setup, debug, etc but he is rebuilding the site given the issues being seen…

My image links comment was in response to your question abiut mage uploading.

The reason I asked about WAMP was that whuile you have t working now we had to do some work to get it to work for your system if you recall.

the changes we made werent for wamp… they were for wp installed in subdirectory and not document root…

his suggested fix for his issue was to add  ../ to the path… which seems odd…

however, his test site is a bit differnt in thats installed on a virtual domain (ie http://something.mysite.com)…  theoretically, that should act the same as installed in subdirectory since its really equivalent to http://mysite.com/something

but worth investigating because you and I dont test on virtual domains like that…

i used to have an account on that site as wp admin and spf admin, but its gone since he reinstalled…

kgh, perhaps you could just create an account for Andy and I?  Just call it 'spf' with pw 'spfspf' so we can look at stuff?

how did the install go this time?  I see the forum admin css is still screwed up…  with this error

The stylesheet http://imahack.kindagreywolfsworld.com/wp-content/plugins/simple-forum/resources/css/admin/sf-admin-css.php?bbarbg=0066CC&bbarbgt=FFFFFF&formbg=0066CC&formbgt=FFFFFF&panelbg=78A1FF&panelbgt=000000&panelsubbg=A7C1FF&panelsubbgt=000000&formtabhead=464646&formtabheadt=D7D7D7&tabhead=0066CC&tabheadt=D7D7D7&tabrowmain=EAF3FA&tabrowmaint=000000&tabrowsub=78A1FF&tabrowsubt=000000 was not loaded because its MIME type, "text/problem-with-post-edit-buttontml", is not "text/css".

are you running latest trunk or have you maded mods?  was going to look at today the image upload issue and see if I can tell why yours needs an extra ../ when it shouldnt…

Images: I had to put them in Wamp, running wp as root and on site as a subdomain.

I am runnign the latest trunk on both.

I am stymied by the style sheet as I reinstalled 4 times and each time the admin looked like “shit”, I believe thats the technical term 🙂

Interesting to note that if I wait 5 or 10 minutes, it seems to clear up and the admin looks normal. You have access to both WP and SPF.

IN WP, the only plugins I have are SPF and Lightbox. I have not altered anything on the Imahack site.

doing some googling, it seems to indicate a setup issue for mime types in the apache config file…
