Request: I think admins should have the ability to post in locked topics. Instead, the lock icon is there with no option to create a reply.

that is correct. can add it to list for discussion, but currently, that is by design...

Thanks. IMO admins should be able to override any settings. And admin shouldn't have to unlock the thread, then post, then lock it back up again.
