I think it would be a nice feature to have national flags displayed in the member field that is left from the posts. The flags would symbolize the member's country of origin.

What do you think?

would be a fairly simple plugin to write... just need icons! and really
you could get there now with the custom profile fields plugin (to allow
users to add their country to profile) and then a routine in the
functions.php file of the theme to display the flag... if you just
wanted a text string of the country, you could completely do it with the
custom profile fields plugin now...

maybe some one will write up this plugin... or maybe we can in the
future - or list seems to keep getting longer though! 😉
